5. Move to, and select the Audio menu item, which is shown in different positions for different input types
as follows:
‘Paging Microphone’ and ‘Zoned Fire Microphone’
Buttons [Audio] Ctrl Name
‘Single Button Microphone’
PTT [Audio] Ctrl Name
‘Fire Microphone’ and ‘Miscellaneous Input’
[Audio] Ctrl Name
‘Network Channel’
[Audio] Name
6. Move to, and select the Fade menu item.
Surv EQ [Fade] Chime Gain
7. Move to, and scroll the fade up times until the required value is displayed in the left field:
[Up=00] Down=00
Default value: ‘00’
Possible values: 00 to 50. This value is the fade up time in tenths of a second, so divide by ten for the
fade up time in seconds.
Note: This should be set to ‘00’ on Network Audio Channels.
8. Move to, and scroll the fade down times until the required value is displayed in the right field:
Up=00 [Down=00]
Default value: ‘00’
Possible values: 00 to 50. This value is the fade down time in tenths of a second, so divide by ten for
the fade down time in seconds.
Note: It is important for Fire Microphones to be able to override other sources quickly; therefore Fire
Microphones are set-up for a short Fade Down time.
This should be set to ‘00’ on Network Audio Channels.
9. Save the changes by pressing the SELECT key, or cancel by pressing the BACK key.
