VAR8 Menu Description

32 DIP = 000000 Displays the DIP switch settings on the selected frame.
DIP = SW6 SW5 SW4 SW3 SW2 SW1
SW1: deep discharge disconnect enable
0 = Automatically switch off the amplifier mainframe if the standby battery
supply voltage drops below 21 V.
SW2: mains fault reporting enable
0 = The mainframe is being supplied from batteries only (no AC mains).
SW3: battery fault reporting enable
0 = The mainframe is being supplied from AC mains only (no batteries).
SW4: AUX supply fault reporting enable
1 = Full compliance with BS5839:Part 8:1998 and BS EN60849:1998.
SW5: mainframe CPU faults latching
0 = Mainframe CPU faults not latched by the front panel LED.
SW6: not used
33 Measured Access to the frame-related measurement functions.
34 Slot#n Enables the user to scroll through the slots in the selected frame.
Where: nn=1 to 4
35 Desc Enables the user to view/edit the slot description. For reference only.
Possible values:
alphanumeric string of up to 12 characters
Default value:
blank
36 AC Level Access to amplifier surveillance card parameters configuration functions.
37 DC Line Enables DC surveillance to be set on or off and the number of spurs to be set.
‘Read’ option displays the number of spurs calculated by the amplifier frame
software from the DC line resistance reading if surveillance is set on.
Possible values:
‘Surveyed’ or ‘Not Surv’
Spurs=00 to 10
Default values:
‘Not-Surv’ and ‘Spurs=00’
38 Earth Enables Earth Leakage reporting to be set on or off.
Possible values:
‘Surveyed’ or ‘Not Surv’
Default value:
‘Not-Surv’
39 BAT Displays raw battery voltage presented to the selected frame.
40 B1 Displays monitored battery voltage.
41 BV Displays battery volts at charger.
42 DC1 Displays voltage on first supply channel.
43 DC2 Displays voltage on second supply channel.
44 CV Displays voltage output by charger.
45 Temp Displays temperature as monitored by the frame.
46 Type Displays the type and revision level of the amplifier installed in the selected slot.
47 I/O Displays the status of the amplifier in the selected slot in terms of:
Swap 1 (swapped to standby amplifier)
0 (in use)
Lockout 1 (locked out from accessing the standby amplifier)
0 (can access the standby amplifier)
Sleep 1 (in power saving sleep mode)
0 (not in sleep mode)
Monitor 1 (amplifier is connected to the audio monitor bus)
0 (amplifier is disconnected from the audio monitor bus)
