2. Press the Status context-sensitive soft key to view the
information about the friend.
3. Press the Call context-sensitive soft key to initiate a call to the
friend.
The IP Deskphone uses the SIP address or phone number from
your personal Address Book to make the call.
To send an IM to a friend on the Friends list:
1. Choose one of the following:
• Press the Directory fixed key.
• Press the Filter context-sensitive soft key, and select Friends
from the menu.
• Press the Select context-sensitive soft key while viewing the
Address Book.
2. Press the Status context-sensitive soft key to view the information
about the friend.
3. Press the SendIM context-sensitive soft key to send an IM to the
friend.
The IP Deskphone uses the SIP address for the contact from your
personal Address Book.
4. Press the abc/123 context-sensitive soft key to toggle between
numeric and alphabetic input.
