Where N is the PRI card number.
Disabling the NTBK50 PRI
1. Enter the following command in LD 96 to software disable the DCHI:
DIS DCH N
Where N is the D-channel device number.
2. If using the NTBK51 DDCH daughterboard, enter the following command in LD 96:
DIS MSDL N
3. Enter the following command in LD 60 to software disable the clock controller:
DIS CC 0
4. Enter the following command in LD 60 to software disable the PRI card:
DISL N
Where N is the PRI card number.
Monitor system PRI operation
Maintenance messages
Service messages report on near-end and far-end switch status. Both service and service
acknowledge messages are supported on PRI B-channels and ISL
channels. These messages
are used for backup D-channel and D-channel sanity polling. The status can be in-service and
out-of-service.
Service and service acknowledge messages for B-channels and ISL channels are supported
between:
• system to system: ISL and PRI
• system to CO: PRI only
