5.1.6 Offset tuning
If the FlexDrive
II
will be using analog input 0 (AIN0) as a command reference input (or for any
other purpose) you may wish to perform offset tuning before continuing. The purpose of offset
tuning is to remove DC offset voltages on the command reference input to achieve a stationary
motor shaft with 0VDC at the input. Of fset tuning is controlled by DIP switches 7 and 8.
Before starting, confirm that the device supplying the AIN0 command input is set to its
intended zero output setting (nominally 0VDC).

After of fset tuning, remember to set switch 8 to the On position to allow the drive to be
enabled.
