12.3 The 3D menu
3D
Main M enu — 3D — 3D
This menu is used for setting the 3D mode. There are four mode options:
Mode Description
Off 3D is off. S tandard 2D projection.
Frame sequential
Every other input frame is interpreted as the left eye frame and the other is interpreted as the
right eye fram e. Fo r sources up to 120 Hz.
Side-by-side T he left half of ev ery input frame is us ed as the left eye output fram e and the right half of every
input frame is used as the right eye output frame. For sources up to 60 Hz.
Dual head
User selects th e input s ources for left and right eye manually. For s ources up to 60 H z . See
next section for m ore information.
Dual head setup
This menu option allows the user to select left eye and right eye input sources. Some combinations are not possible, see matrix
below for more information:

3D Glass sync delay

Some shutter glasses may need the synchronization pulse to be shifted in time to correct ghosting oc curring between the left and
the right eye.
This menu option enables the user t o set this delay (0–359°) in increments of 1°.
Swap eyes
Main M enu — 3D — S wap eyes
Use this to swap the order of the eyes (L/R) for 3D glass synchronization.
