User access levels
The projector’s software platform uses access levels to define what each user can do.
There are two user ac cess levels:
• Standard Us er
• Power User
A s tandard user has access to all projector functionality and OS D m enu items.
A power user has, in addition to access to all projector functionality and OSD m enu items, access to the ’service’ menu Main menu —
Settings — Service which provides ad vanced information and functionality s uch as ’lens shift calibration’ and ’enable remote control
id (RCID)’ . Access to the power user service menu is password-protected. Contact your projector supplier for more information.
Projector service (LFM) and c onsumables
The F 50 has no user-serviceable parts. T he projector fans and color wheels require service or replacement, typically after 8000
operating hours. Both of these service tasks must only be carried out by the manufacturer or a manufacturer-authorized service
technician.
The projector lamp has a normal lifetime of approximately 2000 running hours, though this is dependent on the lamp mode used.
Users can replace the projector lamp. See "Replace the projector lamp", p age 118 for details of the proc edure.
