7. Change projector settings
7.1 Select a power mode
Power on/standby
Switch the projector ON us ing the POWE R button on the keypad or wireless remote control. The LED status light flashes blue w hen
the projector w arming up; a solid blue light will be displayed when the projector is on and running norm ally.
Press the POWE R button twice to put the projector into STANDB Y mode. The LED s tatus light will flash yellow while the projector
is coo ling down. A solid yellow light indicates the projector is in STAN D BY mo de.
DPMS
When activated, the Display Pow er Management Signalling (DPMS) sys tem automatically puts the pr ojec
tor in standby mode after
a source is remov ed. If the projec tor is powered down in DPMS power save, it will automatically power back on when a valid source
is acquired.
DPMS is activated from the SETTINGS m enu. Users select the timeout value in the DPMS TIMEOUT sub-menu.
Standby ECO
This power saving mode sends the pr ojector into a deep sleep setting when in standby.
The projector is returned to normal operation by pressing the pow er button on the projector key pad or remote control, or rem otely
via the RS232 connector using the ASCII protocol / Wake on LAN via the Ethernet.
Baud rate for RS232 commu nication is fixed at 19200 when the projector is in standby eco.
If DPMS is ena bled in the SE T TINGS menu, the projec tor will automatically wake ou t of Standby ECO mode and po wer back on
when a valid source is acquired from the following inputs:
• D P1 and DP2
• HDM I
•DVI
•VGA
• SDI 1 and SDI 2
