In asynchronous s ide-by-side 3D (single and dual head), the projector utilizes the SYNC connectors to distribute a system wide
display sync. This dis play sync is used by all projectors to perform frame rate conversion on the input signals if necessary. An extra
cable is connected between a SYNC connector on pro jector 1 and a S YNC connector on projector 2, as illustrated in image 12 -5 .
