7. Change projector settings
7.2 Lock the projector
PIN code
Main M enu Settings Pin code
Projector acc ess and operation can be regulated using a 4 digit PIN code.
The default setting for the PIN is DISAB LED . The factory set P IN code is ’1234’.
Users can set their own P IN code. To do this, go to Main Menu S ettings PIN code Change PIN code.
The system will issue a prompt for the current PIN code. Once this is successfully entered, it will prompt the user to enter and then
conrm a new 4 digit code. W he n this is done, click OK to set the code and exit the subm enu.
Users have three attempts to correctly enter the PIN. After 3 consecutive failed attempts, t he p rojector wi
ll
automatically be locked an d a P UK code will be needed to unlock the projector.
If the PUK code is e ntered incorrectly 3 con secutive times, the projector w ill be locked and can o nly be un-
locked by an authorized Barco service partner. P roof o f purch ase will be required to unlock the projector.
The PUK code f or each projector is individual and can not be used with other projectors. Your projector PUK
code is provided w ith your o riginal packaging.
Kensington Lock
A lock slot (reference 1, image 7-1)is located at the bac k of the projector for use w ith the Kensington®™ Loc k Slot (K-Slot) security
system .
