Proceed as follows 1. Select the CPS measurement mode.
2. Place the probe on the calibration source as centered as
possible, so that as little as possible activity is lost.
3. Measure the calibration source with a measurement time of
60 seconds.
4. Calculate the constant C using the formula given above.
5. Enter the calibration factor determined in the parameter list
of the newly defined nuclide.
The supplied test sources are no calibration sources. They
are point sources and therefore cannot be used for the cal-
culation of area activities.
