      If the chamber isn't working, first check the power supply connection. Ensure the voltage is correct. Inspect the chamber fuse and replace it if needed. If the fuse blows again, contact BINDER service. Also, the over temperature protective device (class 1) might respond if nominal temperature exceeded by 10° due to chamber failure.

    Why is my Binder KBF P 240 Temperature Controller chamber heating permanently and not maintaining the set-point?

      If your chamber is constantly heating and not holding the set-point, the controller may be defective, in which case you should contact BINDER service. Alternatively, the controller may need calibration and adjustment. Also, semiconductor relay might be defective.

      If the chamber doesn't heat up and the safety controller is active, acknowledge the alarm on the controller. Check the temperature setpoint setting. The inner chamber temperature might have reached the safety controller set-point, or the safety controller set too low. If appropriate, select suitable safety controller setpoint.

      If the chamber isn't heating up, the Pt 100 sensor might be defective, so contact BINDER service. The heating element or semiconductor relay might also be defective.
