8. Attaching

the

carriage feed assembly

Attach

the

carriage feed assembly 0

the

carriage feed

fitting

plate

@with

the

two

flat

and spring

washers and

bolts@.

Make sure there

a uniform 1 mm gap

the

binder assembly on

right

and

left

sides

the carriage feed.

incorrect, loosen

the

bolts@

and shift

the

carriage feed assembly 0

right

left

adjust

the

gap. This adjustment

will

be required only

after

the

carriage feed assembly 0

removed, and

not

usually needed.

After

attachment, make sure

the

needle and

the

carriage feed reference line

are aligned

the

sewing end position.

hoses

steps

3 and 4 must be done on

the

both

right

and

left

carriage feeds.)

Connect

the

air hose@

the

flap presser cylinder

Connect

the

two

air hoses@

the

folding plate cylinder@ and

the

S-elbow 8 on

the

left

carriage feed.

Connect

the

two

air

hoses@

the

joint@

and

the

S-elbow 8 on

the

right

carriage feed.

Connect

the

air hose@

the

folding plate cylinder
