BANK ANGLE SENSOR 4.33
REMOVAL
1. Remove seat and tail section. See 2.33 TAIL SECTION.
2. See Figure 4-76. Locate bank angle sensor (1) on right
side between ECM and battery. Unplug sensor connec-
tor (2) [134].
3. Remove screw, washer and nut (3) to detach sensor
from frame.
INSTALLATION
1. See Figure 4-76. Plug connector (2) [134] into bank
angle sensor.
2. Attach bank angle sensor to frame using screw, washer
and nut (3). Make sure location post on sensor engages
hole in mounting tab.
3. Tighten screw to 25-27
in-lbs
(2.8-3.1 Nm).

After installing seat, pull upward on front of seat to be
sure it is locked in position. If seat is loose, it could shift
during vehicle operation and startle the rider, causing
loss of control which could result in death or serious
injury.
4. Install tail section and seat. See 2.33 TAIL SECTION.
