GENERAL
The full 17 digit serial or Vehicle Identification Number (V.I.N.)
is stamped on the steering head and on an information decal
on the left front down tube.
See Figure 2-1. An abbreviated V.I.N. is stamped on the front
left side of the crankcase.
NOTE
See Figure 2-2. Always give the V.I.N. or abbreviated V.I.N.
when ordering parts or making inquiries about your Buell
motorcycle.
