10.2.3 Drinking water filler neck with cap
The drinking water filler neck is on the right or left side of the vehicle,
depending on the model.
The drinking water filler neck is labelled by the word "WASSER" (water)
(Fig. 199,1) or marked by the symbol " " (Fig. 200,1). The cap is open and
closed using the key for the external flap locks.
Opening:
 Insert key into locking cylinder (Fig. 199,2 or Fig. 200,2) and turn a quarter
turn in an anticlockwise direction.
 Remove cap.
Closing:
 Place cap on the drinking water filler neck.
 Turn key one quarter turn in a clockwise direction.
 Remove the key.
 Check that the cap sits firmly on the drinking water filler neck.
10.2.4 Closing/opening the overflow
X The cap for the drinking water filler neck and for the fuel filler neck are
very similar. Before filling the tank, always check the label.

X When filling the water tank, observe the maximum permissible gross
weight of the vehicle. Luggage must be reduced accordingly when the
water tank is full.
