6.1 Conversion door and driver's door
6.1.1 Driver's door, outside (partially special equipment)
Opening: Insert the key into the locking cylinder (Fig. 41,1) and turn towards "Open"
(Fig. 41,4) until the door is unlocked.
Return the key to the central position and remove it.
Pull on the handle (Fig. 41,3). The door is open.
X Only drive with locked doors.
Z Locking the doors can prevent them from opening of their own accord, e.g.
during an accident.
Z Locked doors also prevent forced entry, e.g. when waiting at traffic lights.
However, in an emergency, locked doors make it more difficult for helpers
to enter the vehicle.
Z When leaving the vehicle, always lock the doors.
