Ethernet Communications
An RJ-45 connector (Figure 3.1, page 55) provides the Ethernet communications required for accessing the web inter-
face via a web browser and for transmitting data over two TCP ports. The TCP ports support Modbus TCP and Modbus-
over-TCP protocols and can be congured individually (assigned to unique port numbers) using the web interface.
Section 4 describes two methods for using the Ethernet port to connect the Scanner 3100 to a PC or laptop.
