The image formation process con
sists of seven steps as discussed below.
Step 1 : Primary charging (negative)
Step 2 : Image exposure
Step 3 : Development (AC and DC bias)
Step 4 : Transfer (negative)
Step 5 : Separation
Step 6 : Fixing
Step 7 : Drum cleaning
