3. Diagnosis Procedures
Test Conditions Details/Results/Actions
1. Inspect the control system for DTC P0606, P1559, P1564, P1565, P1579, P1604
A. Connect the diagnostic tool to fault diagnosis
interface.
B. Turn the ignition switch to position "ON".
C. Select "Changan Auto" / "CS35" / "UMC ME788" /
"Read DTC".
D. Read the DTC, are there any DTC expect DTC
P0606, P1559, P1564, P1565, P1579, P1604?
Y
Carry out the DTC diagnosis.

DTC Diagnosis and Testing).

Go to step 2.
2.Inspect the electronic throttle
A. Inspect the electronic throttle for carbon depositon
or clamping.
Y
Clean it.
N
Go to step 3.
3. Inspect the ECM power supply circuit
A. Turn the ignition switch to position "LOCK".
B. Measure from the back of ECM wiring harness
connector E01.
C. Turn the ignition switch to "ON" position and use a
multimeter to measure the voltage between the
terminals 12, 13, 44, 45 and 63 of the ECM wiring
harness connector E01 and the power supply.
Standard Voltage Value: 11 ~ 14 V
Is the voltage normal?
Y
Go to step 4.
N
Repair and inspect the ECM power supply circuit.
