Monitoring Active/Active Failover
Step 5 When you are finished, you can restore the unit or failover group to active status by enter the following
command on the unit where the failover group containing the interface connecting your hosts is active:
hostname(config)# failover active group group_id
Monitoring Active/Active Failover
To monitor Active/Active Failover, perform one of the following tasks. Commands are entered in the
system execution space unless otherwise noted.

Feature History for Active/Active Failover
Table 1-3 lists the release history for this feature.
Command Purpose
show failover
Displays information about the failover state of
the unit.
show failover group
Displays information about the failover state of
the failover group. The information displayed is
similar to that of the show failover command but
limited to the specified group.
show monitor-interface
Displays information about the monitored
interface. Enter this command within a security
context.
show running-config failover
Displays the failover commands in the running
configuration.
