Grasp the SFP module between your thumb and index finger, and carefully
remove it from the module slot.
Step 6 Place the removed SFP module in an antistatic bag or other protective
environment.
Connecting to 10/100 and 10/100/1000 Ports
The 10/100 ports configure themselves to operate at the speed and duplex settings
of attached devices.They operate at 10 or 100 Mbps in half- or full-duplex mode.
If the attached devices do not support autonegotiation, you can explicitly set the
speed and duplex parameters.
The 10/100/1000 ports configure themselves to operate at the speed setting of
attached devices. These ports on Catalyst 2950T-24 switches operate at 10, 100,
or 1000 Mbps in full-duplex mode. The 10/100/1000 ports on Catalyst 2950 LRE
switches operate at 10 or 100 Mbps in either half- or full-duplex mode and
at 1000 Mbps only in full-duplex mode. If the attached devices do not support
autonegotiation, you can set the speed.
