Quick Installation
This chapter provides a quick step-by-step installation and setup procedure for a
standalone switch.
Note For detailed installation procedures on rack-mounting your switch, connecting to
the Gigabit Ethernet Interface Converter (GBIC) modules, or connecting to the
small form-factor pluggable (SFP) modules, see Chapter 3, “Installation.” For
