Make a Call with a Speed-Dial Button on Your Desk Phone
Each phone model has a specific number of line buttons available for phone features such as speed-dial
numbers. But line buttons are often used for features other than speed-dial numbers. If you add more speed-dial
numbers than available lines, the remaining speed-dial numbers don't display on your phone.
On the Cisco IP Phone 8800 Series, you see only the speed-dial numbers that are added to the available lines.
On the Cisco IP Phone 7800 Series, you can use the navigation cluster to view all your speed-dial numbers.
Use the up and down buttons in the cluster to scroll through your speed-dial numbers, then select a speed-dial
number. This includes any speed-dial numbers that do not display on the phone.
