72 6 Setup
The followings should be done after the initial adjustment is completed:
1) Determining the optimal cycle time
2) Verifying relative consistency in test results.
3) Entering all the required test parameters
4) System backup
Connect the Leak Master for NG limit check to the CAL. PORT on the front
panel and perform a leak test to verify the NG readout in a flow unit.
st after disconnect the Leak Master from the CAL. PORT
3. Check whether there are deformation factors.
Yes --- Check ---- If the clamp force is appropriate.
If the machine is leveled.
Hardness of sealing material
If the tested part itself deforms.
No --- Go to the next item to check.
4. Check the environmental factors.
Effect of Ventilation --- From local (spot) cooling equipment
Thermal Effect --- From sun light
Tested parts were wet. (Vaporization)
Perform leak tests 2 times with the known defective parts.
Criterion for "Correct NG (fail) Judgment" --- The readouts are obviously different
from "Pass"
Perform K(Ve) Automatic Setup with a non-leaking part to obtain the leak
coefficient, K(Ve)
Use the calibrator for K(Ve) Automatic Setup.
Check the repeatability by performing K(Ve) Automatic Setup more than 1 time.
Change the Leak unit to a flow unit.
Check whether the measured leak coefficient is correct.
The displayed readout is close to the labeled flow of the Leak Master, it can be
concluded that the obtained leak coefficient is correct.
Check displayed readout is obviously different from that of Fail.
