End waste
Th
e end of a run does not have the same degree of non-steady-state flow conditions as
the start. Therefore, the value of the parameter End waste is much less susceptible to
syringe size or target flow rate dependencies.
A value of 0.05 mL is recommended for the parameter End waste for all syringe combi-
nations and flow rates.
Note:
For some formulations, no collection of end waste is required. In this case,
th
e value of End waste can be set to 0 mL.
