46 Install the Printer
Set Up the Host PC for Printer Sharing, Windows XP, 32-bit
1. Install the printer on the host PC.
A. See “Network Installation using the Installation CD”

2. Set Simple File Sharing:

checkbox.
3. Enable printer

A. From the Windows Start menu, choose Settings> Printers and Faxes. The
Printers window opens.
B. Right-click on the printer and select Properties. The Printi

window opens.
C. Click on the Sharing tab.
D. Click If you understand the risks but wnat to share printers without running the
wizard, click
here.

ick Just enable Printer Sharing
in the Enable Printer Sharing dialog box
and click OK.
