The following instructions are referred to Figure 23, Figure 24 and Figure 25:
• Use DeviceNet cables (drop type 2 x AWG 24 + 2 x AWG 22).
• Cable Shield connected only to Master earth.
• Max 1000 meter ID-NETcable length.
• Connect only 36, 38 and not 39 (use only 2 wires).
• DC Voltage Power cable (VS – GND) should be handled as a signal cable (i.e.
do not put it together with AC cable):
- Wire dimensioning must be checked in order to avoid voltage drop greater
than 0.8 Volt.
- Cable should lie down as near as possible to the ID-NET cable (avoiding
wide loop between them).
• Scanner's chassis may be connected to earth.
• Network inside the same building.
