8.1. INTRODUCTION
This Chapter contains factory-recommended procedures for proper ground handling and
servicing of the airplane. It also identifies certain inspection and maintenance requirements
which must be followed if the airplane is to retain its’ original performance and dependability. It
is wise to follow a planned schedule of lubrication and preventive maintenance based on
climatic and flying conditions encountered.
8.2. AIRPLANE INSPECTION PERIOD
Inspection intervals are every 50, 100 hrs, 200 hrs and 1000 hrs of flight time and a special 25
hour check on new airplanes. The respective maintenance procedure can be found in the
Engine Manual or the Airplane Maintenance Manual.
8.3. AIRPLANE ALTERATIONS OR REPAIRS
It is essential that the responsible airworthiness authority be contacted prior to any alterations
on the airplane to ensure that the airworthiness of the airplane is not affected. For repairs and
painting refer to the applicable Maintenance Manual Doc. No. DA20-C1.
