2.1. INTRODUCTION
Chapter 2 of this Flight Manual comprises of the operating limitations, instrument markings,
airspeed indicator markings, and the limitation placards which are necessary for the safe
operation of the airplane, its engine, and standard systems and equipment.
The operating limitations in this Chapter and Chapter 9 have been approved by the Department
of Transport (DOT), and must be complied with for all operations.
WARNING
ALL LIMITATIONS GIVEN IN THIS CHAPTER MUST BE
COMPLIED WITH FOR ALL OPERATIONS.
2.2. AIRSPEED LIMITATIONS

Maneuvering Speed.
106 Do not make full or abrupt control movement above
this speed. Under certain conditions the airplane
may be overstressed by full control movement.

Maximum Flap Extended Speed.

Do not exceed this speed with flaps in take-off
position.

Do not exceed this speed with flaps in landing
position.

Maximum Structural Cruising

118 Do not exceed this speed except in smooth air, and
then only with caution.

164 Do not exceed this speed in any operation.
2.3. AIRSPEED INDICATOR MARKINGS
Marking KIAS Explanation
White Arc 34-78 Operating range with extended flaps.
Green Arc 42-118 Normal operating range.
Yellow Arc 118-164 Maneuvers must be conducted with caution and only
in smooth air.
Red Line 164 Maximum permissible speed for all operating modes.
