11. Type exit to exit the Admin CLI.
Depending on your device configuration, you may be presented with an Access selection
menu. Type quit to disconnect from the device.
Configure cellular modem APNs
The AnywhereUSB Plus device uses a preconfigured list of Access Point Names (APNs) when
attempting to connect to a cellular carrier for the first time. After the device has successfully
connected, it will remember the correct APN. As a result, it is generally not necessary to configure
APNs. However, you can configure the system to use a specified APN.
To configure the APN:

1. Log into the AnywhereUSB Plus WebUI as a user with full Admin access rights.
2. On the menu, click System. Under Configuration, click Device Configuration.
The Configuration window is displayed.
3. Click Network > Interfaces > Modem > APN list > APN.
4. For APN, type the Access Point Name (APN) to be used when connecting to the cellular carrier.
5. (Optional) IP version:
For IP version, select one of the following:
n
Automatic: Requests both IPv4 and IPv6 address.
n
IPv4: Requests only an IPv4 address.
n
IPv6: Requests only an IPv6 address.
The default is Automatic.
6. (Optional) Authentication method:
For Authentication method, select one of the following:
n
None: No authentication is required.
n
Automatic: The device will attempt to connect using CHAP first, and then PAP.
n
CHAP: Uses the Challenge Handshake Authentication Profile (CHAP) to authenticate.
n
PAP: Uses the Password Authentication Profile (PAP) to authenticate.
