Positioning of Intelligent Micro Purge
As mentioned previously the IMP occurs as soon as the start print signal is
seen and before the actual printing itself. Therefore, a Forward or End Margin
needs to be defined where the purge can be completed; if there is insufficient
margin the purge will not be done. The margin is related to the message and
thus has to be defined within the message definition and not the global. An
illustration is shown below:
