Time Between two columns and Type of Micro Purge
Time Between 2 Columns specifies the delay that is used between firing the
nozzles and is used to minimise the mark on the substrate when purging. The
higher the value the more spread out the purging is. It should be remembered
that enough space needs to be given before the message to allow the spread of
the purge.
Type of Micro Purge - One shot fires all nozzles at once. Fog Printing fires a
sequence of 10 - 20 nozzles at a time
Interpolation Steps
Interpolation Steps defines the intensity of purging dependant on the time
elapsed since the last print. Therefore if the printing frequency is high there
may only be a small purge before printing. As the printing frequency becomes
slower a larger purge can be defined
For the example above a small 5 drop purge would be performed before the
message if there was printing inactivity of 0.1 of a minute. If there has been no
print for 10 minutes a larger 120 purge is performed before the message.
