Transfer data
Printer preparation/Initialization/PCMCIA transfer
This function enables data to be transferred from the printer to external media (cards or
keys) and vice versa. The external media can also be formatted. The type of media
connected is displayed on the screen (1).
The following types of data can be exchanged:
Ƒ messages,
Ƒ fonts,
Ƒ messages + fonts,
Ƒ messages + fonts + languages,
Ƒ full printer data.
ʄ Formatting external media
Ƒ Select FORMAT.
Ƒ Press
to confirm.
WARNING
All the data on the medium will be lost.
ʄ Saving data from the printer to external media
Ƒ Select Data type for data to be transferred.
Ƒ Select New.
Ƒ Give a name to the directory (max. 8 characters), then confirm.
Ƒ Select "=>> PCMCIA" or "=>> USB" or "=>> SD".
Ƒ Select the data to be transferred, then confirm.
