3. At the InputCode prompt enter the 4-digit code.The display will
show the following message:

Unit Unlocked
— You entered the correct code. The display
returns to the Security sub-menu and shows the active
setting:
Off

To unlock the TGR990 after powering on, enter the code at the
prompt. The TGR990 enters the Home display.
If you fail to enter the correct code, the following message will be
displayed:
•
Incorrect Code Entered
— You are prompted to try again.
After failing, your TGR990 will be blocked. Please check with
your Service Provider how many failed attempts are allowed.
Change code
From the
Main menu
, select Setup
→
Security
→
Change code.
Note
:The default PIN code is 1234.
At the InputCode
prompt, enter the 4-digit code. If the old code does
not match the entered code at verification, the display prompts you
to re-enter the old code.
If the entered code matches the old code, the display prompts you to
enter a new 4-digit code and to repeat it for confirmation. If the
confirmation code does not match the new code, the display
prompts you to re-enter the new code.
When the new code is accepted, the display shows Code Accepted
and returns to the Security sub-menu.
Locking/unlocking the keypad
To prevent accidental key/button presses:
1. Press and then .
2. To unlock the keypad, press , and then .
