I set the network camera to send
images by email or FTP, but nothing
is received
1. If the image is sent by email, please make sure it's not blocked by any anti-spam
mechanism.
2. Please make sure you have enough permission for FTP uploading (You can try this
by clicking the Upload a Test File button).
3. If your SMTP server requires authentication, make sure the username and / or
password of the SMTP server is correct (You can try this by clicking the Send a
Test Email button).
4. Please check the log, if the FTP upload or email sending has failed, it will be
logged, and this may give you some clue on how to solve the problem.
5. Change the threshold to a more sensitive setting.
I heard strange sounds when I use
the pan / tilt function
1. Please check if anything has jammed the camera, and remove it.
2. If the camera does not respond to you when you're trying to use the pan / tilt func-
tion, the servo motor inside the camera may be dead. Please return the camera to
the dealer and ask for help.
An external speaker is required to playback the voice received at the computer side.
Nothing is heard at the camera side
when I use the 'Speak to IPCam'
function
The IC-3110W network camera can- Please set your wireless router or access point to use WPA2-AES encryption. Using
not connect to my wireless routerdifferent encryption settings may impact camera performance and security. Please
refer to your router or access point user manual for more details.
