Toggle Bolts
Toggle bolts must be at least 3/16”. Each of the four toggle bolts used must be rated for 32.2 lb (14.6
kg) minimum.
Typical drill size is ½” for the 3/16” toggle bolt. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
Reusable Anchors
The minimum recommended size for reusable anchors is #10 size minimum. Each of the four
reusable anchors must be rated for 32.2 lb (14.6 kg) minimum and be the appropriate size for the
sheathing thickness.
Typical drill size is 3/8” for the #10 reusable anchor. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
Pan Head Steel Machine Screws
If the rear side of the sheathing is accessible, you can bolt the wall mount bracket to the wall
sheathing using four #10-#12 pan head steel machine screws with fender washers and lock nuts
behind the sheathing. The screws must be long enough to fully engage all threads on the nuts.
Concrete or Masonry Wall Construction
For concrete or masonry walls, use appropriate wall fasteners in all four mounting points.
