1. Connect the scanner and the
computer to the network
(This is unnecessary if you connected
to the network during setup)
Scanner and
computer
Connect the scanner to the network using the installer.
Access the following website, and then enter the product
name on the screen displayed. Go to Setup, and then start
setting up.

When the connection method selection screen is displayed,
select wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) and follow the on-screen
instructions to connect to the network.
Note:
❏ When you use the installer, the soware is installed at
the same time.
❏ You can also set this manually. (for administrators)

2. Scan from the control panel Scanner’s control

Perform scanning from the control panel.

If the destination computer is not displayed, follow the
steps below to add a WSD scanning device.

Saving to a Computer
Saves the scanned image to a computer connected to the scanner.
You need to make settings in advance. See the following link for details on the work ow for making settings.

1. Place the original.

2. Select Computer on the home screen on the control panel.
3. Select the computer to which you want to save the scanned images.
4. Select the scanning side from 1-Sided or 2-Sided.
