The ALC must be used only to configure the RET system.
• The ALC has the following functions:
• Configuration of AISG-compatible antennas
(Antenna Line Devices (ALDs)), such as RET and
Tower Mounted Amplifier (TMA)
• First installation and service
• First installation of Ericsson ALDs using the
installation wizard
• Configuration of the Ericsson site sharing adapter
Other features of the ALC:
• Battery operated (standalone)
• Touch-screen graphical display
• Sturdy aluminum housing
• Not necesary to install software on a laptop or PC
• Generate and save report files
• Wi-Fi interface for control using a laptop, tablet PC,
or smartphone through a web browser
• Parallel operation of display and web browser
• Inclination sensor for mechanical alignment of the
antenna
• Show power and voltage on the AISG bus
