3.7.13 How to Set Up External PSIP Data Insertion
The External Program and System Information Protocol (PSIP) Data Insertion
feature allows the user to insert MPEG Program Specific Information (PSI) and
ATSC PSIP data generated by a Triveni Digital GuideBuilder equipment into any of
the internally created Transport Streams. The feature requires the AVP/SWO/PSIP
license to be installed on the unit.
The PSI information includes the following MPEG tables:
• Program Association Table (PAT)
• Program Map Table (PMT)
The PSIP data can include the following ATSC tables:
• Master Guide Table (MGT)
• Rating Region Table (RRT)
• System Time Table (STT)
• Event Information Table (EIT)
• External Text Table (ETT)
• Terrestrial Virtual Channel Table (TVCT)
• Cable Virtual Channel Table (CVCT)
