Error Responses
When the DMP 128 Plus is unable to execute the command, it returns an error response to
the host. The error response codes and their descriptions are as follows:
E10 — Unrecognized command E24 — Privilege violation
E12 — Invalid port number E25 — Device not present
E13 — Invalid parameter E26 — Maximum number of connections
exceeded
E14 — Not valid for this configuration E27 — Invalid event number
E17 — Invalid command for signal type E28 — Bad filename or file not found
E18 — System/command timed out E31— Attempt to break port pass-
through when not set
E22 — Busy
Simple Control Port Commands
Upper and lower case text can be used interchangeably except where noted. Port 23 is the
default port for Telnet. Port 80 is the default port for Web browsers. Both can be mapped to
different ports.
