Signal Level Monitoring (SLM)
SLM allows the user to track when the signal at a metered gain OID crosses a threshold level set by the user.
SLM is available for Input gain, Aux input gain, and Output Attenuation OIDs. When SLM is enabled for an OID,
an unsolicited message is sent when the threshold level is crossed by a rising or falling signal. The response will
include the OID, meter on/off status, and the meter level immediately after the threshold was crossed. Comparing
the set threshold and meter level in the response shows if the signal has risen above or fallen below the threshold.
