16. OPERATIONS ON THE BOARD
16.1 SETUP
The SETUP consists of a series of movements.
WHEN IS SETUP NECESSARY
- upon first commissioning the automation 63 or after
replacing the board
- when the display reads error

- following any travel variation
- when leaf number (LN) is modified
- after a reset to factory settings
SETUP CANNOT be performed in conditions of:
- Emergency active
- MANUAL mode
- NIGHT-TIME mode
- Power outage.
In this case the board remains in
L0
L0 status until the cause for the
hindrance is removed.
HOW TO PERFORM SETUP FROM BOARD
- To perform SETUP from board press button SW1 for 5 s.

SETUP/RESET
SETUP is interrupted (
L0
L0 status) if one of the following conditions
occurs during execution:
- activation of an emergency command
- setting NIGHT-TIME or MANUAL mode
- activation of an error during motion.
- Activation of the safety devices does not prevent SETUP execu-
tion.

To perform SETUP with SDK EVO refer to 92.
16.2 RESET
Reset is an initialising procedure of board operation. In the operat-
ing mode for escape routes an opening motion at reduced speed is
expected, during which the following is checked:
- battery charge level
- correct operation of the AUX motor.
The door automatically performs a TEST every time that:
- it exits the NIGHTTIME function
- it exits the MANUAL function
WHEN IS RESET NECESSARY
After automation lock due to:
- board in error condition with request to RESET
HOW TO PERFORM RESET FROM BOARD
- Press the RESET button SW1 for 1 s and release it.

16.3 RESTORING FACTORY STATUS
RESTORE brings all board parameters back to factory status.

The procedure is irreversible and involves:
- loss of data acquired from SETUP (need to perform SETUP again)
- loss of programming (resetting default values)
- relevant cycle counters are reset to zero
- loss of passwords (“0000” is reset)
WHEN IS RESTORE NECESSARY
When you wish to cancel all settings made on the board.
HOW TO PERFORM RESTORE
1. Disconnect mains power supply and disconnect the emergency
battery
2. restore power supply to the board
3. within the first 4 s after switching on (while the display shows the
FW version) press simultaneously for about 5 s the buttons +
