The generator bearing is equipped with an oil thermo-switch,
which switches the engine off, if the oil temperature becomes
too high.
At generators with xControl the thermo switch is for service
only

In order to be able to monitor the lubricating oil system, an oil
pressure switch is built into the system. The oil pressure
switch is at the rear of the engine (In front of the electrical
starter).
