Function Selection
To set the meter mode:
1. Push the Mode softkey to display the Available Modes menu.
2. Using the cursor keys or rotary knob, highlight the mode.
3. Push the Select softkey or push in the rotary knob to select the highlighted
mode.
The rolling average parameter can be set for Multimeter readings. Available
averages are 1, 2, 4, 8, and 16. With any of the rolling average settings, the
display is updated every 300 ms, although the x averaged value will not occur
until after x readings. For example, with a rolling average set to 8, the first
reading will have no averaging, the second reading is the average of readings 1
and 2, the 3rd reading is the average of 1, 2, and 3, and so on.
To set the parameter:
1. Push the Setup softkey.
2. Use the cursor keys or rotary knob to highlight Meter and either push the
Select softkey or push in the rotary knob.
3. Use the cursor keys or rotary knob to highlight Meter rolling avg and either
push the Select softkey or push in the rotary knob.
4. Use the cursor keys or rotary knob to highlight one of the values and either
push the Select softkey or push in the rotary knob.
5. Return to the multimeter display by pushing the Exit softkey repeatedly.
Multimeter Functions
In the Multimeter function, the Product measures ac or dc voltage, current,
power, and phase shift between voltage and current when in ac mode. To make
a voltage measurement using the built-in multimeter:
1. Push .
2. Push the AC/DC softkey to select between ac or dc mode.
3. Connect the test leads to the V and COM jacks.

Whenever a voltage exceeding 30 V is detected, the
icon appears
in the display.
