Multifunction Electrical Tester Calibrator
Use the USB Port for Remote Control
85
The proper COM port must also be selected. After the Product is connected to
the PC, a virtual COM port appears in the System Control panel of a Microsoft
Windows operating system. This COM port is labeled USB Serial Port (COMxx).
When you use the USB port, the command SYST:REM or SYST:RWL must first
be sent to the Product to place it into remote operation.
Note
If the Product is not placed into the remote mode (by first sending it
SYST:REM or SYST:RWL), it only responds to non-executable
commands like SYST:ERR?.
