Protocol Description
TSIP
The receiver can output TSIP data packets to the port, for
example when being controlled remotely.
NMEA
The receiver outputs NMEA messages to the port, to be used
by other equipment in need of GPS data. Type and output rate
of the NMEA messages can be set using the NMEA
messages screens, described further on in this manual.
RTCME
The receiver outputs RTCM messages to the port, to be used
by other GPS receivers in need of differential GPS
corrections.
HAWK The receiver outputs HAWK messages to the port.
OMNIHP
The receiver ouputs OMNIHP (= debug data) messages to the
port.
None Outputs nothing from the receiver

The RTS/CTS screen can be used to toggle between using or not using the
RTS and CTS signals through the communication port. Some external
devices, like modems, need RTS and CTS signals for their correct functioning.
Default, RTS/CTS is disabled (off). When either port A or Port B is set to
RTS/CTS On, the receiver options status screen, sub-screen modem control
(see page 32 of this manual) will show ‘Modem Ctl(A) On’.
