NMEA2 Messages
Figure 90: NMEA messages 2
The second NMEA messages screen is essentially the same as the first, only
different messages can be selected.
NMEA3 Messages
Figure 91: NMEA messages 3
The third NMEA messages screen is also equivalent to the first and second
one, again presenting more different messages to be selected for output.
NMEA/TSIP Output Rate
Figure 92: NMEA/TSIP output rates
Using the NMEA/TSIP output rates screen, it is possible to increase the time
between two subsequent NMEA or TSIP message bursts. Possible values are
01 to 99, in increments of 1. Default value is 1 second for both NMEA and
TSIP output rates.
To change the output rate to faster than once every second, the position rate
(see page 39) must be set to 5 or 10 Hz. first. After changing the position rate,
the NMEA and/or TSIP output rate can be set to ‘ASAP’. NMEA and/or TSIP
messages will then be output 5 or 10 times a second. The actual output rate
and actual number of messages that can be output at a certain output rate
depends on the baudrate settings of the communication port.
