TABLE 9-25 lists the functions for the firmware update. Select [Utility]-[Firmware
Update] in the Menu tree.
To switch the XSCF, select [Utility]-[Switch Over] in the menu tree. This function is
equivalent to the switchscf(8) command. This function is available in the
M8000/M9000 servers only. On the page which is displayed after you log in to the
standby XSCF Unit, you can perform operations such as XSCF switching and log
collection.
To reset the XSCF, select [Utility]-[Reboot XSCF] in the menu tree. This function is
equivalent to the rebootxcf(8) command.

Function Remarks
XCP version display Displays the XCP version.
This function is equivalent to the version(8)
command.
XSCF/OpenBoot PROM version display Displays the XSCF firmware and the OpenBoot
PROM firmware versions.
This function is equivalent to the version(8)
command.
XCP importing Import the XCP file into the server.
This function is equivalent to the
getflashimage(8) command.
Firmware update Update the firmwares of XCP.
This function is equivalent to the flashupdate(8)
command.
Version matching (M8000/M9000 servers only) Match the firmware versions of the two XSCF
Units. This is done when the XSCF Unit is replaced.
This function is equivalent to the flashupdate(8)
command.
