WPA Mode
Select for Security Mode = :0!-9 or :0 ,&, whether you wish to use WPA
oder WPA 2 or both.
WPA Cipher
Select for Security Mode = :0!-9 or :0 ,& and for WPA Mode = :0 or
:0 :0 , the encryption with which you wish to use WPA.
WPA2 Cipher
Select for Security Mode = :0!-9 or :0 ,& and for WPA Mode = :0
or :0 :0 , the encryption with which you wish to use WPA2.
Preshared Key
Enter the WPA password for Security Mode = :0!-9.
Enter an ASCII string with 8 - 63 characters.
Note: Change the default Preshared Key! If the key has not been changed, your device will
not be protected against unauthorised access!
Radius Server
You can control access to a wireless network via a RADIUS server.
With Add, you can create new entries.
Enter the IP address and the password of the desired RADIUS server.
EAP Preauthentification
For Security Mode = :0 ,&, select whether the EAP preauthentification func-
tion is to be #/. This function tells your device that WLAN clients, which are already
connected to another access point, can first carry out 802.1x authentication as soon as
they are within range. Such WLAN clients can then simply connect over the existing net-
work connection with your device.
VLAN
Select whether the VLAN segmentation is to be used for this wireless network.
If you wish to use VLAN segmentation, enter in the entry field a numerical value between
